Nom nom nom. That’s the sound that I hear in my head when I just look at a brownie let alone eat it. You can buy brownies, but they can tend to be a little dry and flavourless so the best thing to do is make a DIY chocolate brownie.
When I think of brownie I generally think of a cold chocolaty treat but when you do it yourself then you get to also enjoy it fresh out of the oven. Then you get a warm or hot, slightly stickier but even more satisfying slab of goodness. If you stop yourself from eating it all then you can let it cool and then also eat it at room temperature.
I decided to do a DIY chocolate brownie as I had been sent some Royal Chocolate from Prestat that had been made for the Queen’s 90th birthday. The chocolate was so nice I could have just eaten it all straight away but I wanted to also make something with it so I could enjoy it in a different way.
As with all DIY food you can customise the ingredients that you want to go in it. I put chunks of chocolate and some fruit but you could leave that out or add nuts instead. Make it to what your preferences are. It is pretty simple to make even thought there are a few ingredients.
